Default DRAG Generation Question.

Lame question, but I gotta know... What is the difference between the DRAG Gen 1, 2, and 3 Turbo kits? Are they like different stages, or are they older/newer versions of the same type kit. Thanks!

Reefer_Bob.

I beleive they are just newer. I know that some models also haven't been developed for each car like My accord is a gen II, b/c they don't have a gen III for it. It's like 1 small part is different, maybe turbine size is different, that's about it.

Gen II vs. Gen III = manifold design.

not sure about the other kits, but there's quite a bit of difference between the integra gen kits. Maybe Ben will show up, he would know the answer for all generations.

I thought the gen2's used a t3/to4b and the gen3's use a t3/t04e

Generation 1 kits were the first DRAG kits out. DRAG refined those kits by replacing then with the Generation 2 kits. The Generation 3 kits are the newest kits currently available.

Development of new generation kits has been slower for Accords and Preludes because of the smaller demand. The Gen 3 kit for Accords and Preludes should be available Spring-Summer 2002. The Gen 4 kits for Integras and Civics should be available Summer-Fall 2002.

I hope this answers everyone's questions.

didn't things like the Intercooler change, and manifold design? I've seen some gen 1 kits that looked way different then my setup for basically the same engine.
