Drag Gen 3 Turbo Kit for '99 Civic EX?
What is the quality, and build of the kit? or would it be better to wait for Greddy's kit this summer, or should I go FMAX, or even consider a JR supercharger? Ideas, comments? I am looking to build up my D16Y8 and no I don't want to do a swap.

Drag III all the way, look up ben at importparts.com. He'll hook you up!! You don't want the small greddy turbo w/ internal wastegate unless you're looking for a simple easy setup

The DRAG kit is complete and is should give you the power that you want without having to upgrade the internals. You should get noticeable gains with the DRAG 3 at a low 7lbs of boost setup.
If you get the DRAG 3, you can boost more once you prep your block. It’s a good kit to upgrade later on if you plan to go crazier, but as long as you have the built block for it, that drag 3 can take you into the 12’s with more boost.

regarding the drag kit.. you might want to wait for the drag gen 9. it might be a good kit by then.

Ive seen a 92-95 coupe on 11lbs on a stock engine with RC 310 injectors do a 12.90 on slicks with a stiffened rear suspension.
its possible but make sure you have enough fuel.
and dont do it too often.

that's a realistic goal with slicks and a built engine.
regarding the drag kit.. you might want to wait for the drag gen 9. it might be a good kit by then.

The DRag 3 kit is perfect for just daily driving and drag racing. you can tune it down for low boost for daily driving and turn it up a little when you need to.
Its a great all around kit.
I highly suggest it and its at a reasonable price.

with drag radials and the drag gen 3 kit, look to run about a 14.6-14.8 on the quarter mile. email me if you are interested in a kit, i have a buddy of mine selling a brand new one for your engine.
