Default downpipe question

i have a factory refurbished garrett turbo with an odd exhaust flange. i've been told that i'll probably need to use a v-band to attach my downpipe to the turbo. my question is, how many of you guys have this type of setup on your cars, and do you guys have any pictures? i'm just trying to get an idea for how difficult this type of installation will be. thanks in advance.

v band is simple..just a little more $$ than typical set ups.

It's basically like a big exhaust clamp. Part of the downpipe will slip over the exhaust flange of the turbo and you just tighten down on the spring mounted clamp.

I don't see the v-band lip in that turbo.

Are you sure that's v-band? looks more like it needs some welding.
