Default Downpipe material needed?

Were can I get 3inch mandrel bent piping to build my downpipe. I have looked all over and to no success. Also why is the exhaust hole on the 5 bolt flange that bolts onto my turbo smaller than the outlet on my Turbo. I need a flange with a hole at least the same size as my turbo.

Yeah I know. I have been looking like crazy but with no luck. Someone out there has to know a place that carries it.

Is there any were else that has more of a selection and cheaper prices? There stuff is crazy high priced for low end stainless piping. I need a really tight radius bend for my setup. I am not seeing anything this tight on there site. I built my first DP with regular aluminized piping. I used a 180 degree bend off my turbo but it hangs about 2 inches lower than my front lip. The one I used had about a 7.5 inches between the two legs off the bend. I need one with around 5-6 inches in between. What size downpipe is everyone else running. I already have a full 3" exhaust as is, so I figured I would go with 3" for the downpipe as well. But the way it looks I might not be able to do it and make it look nice.

Okay so I found a place that carries 3" U bends in stainless. The question I now have is about the radius. The site says that the pipes legs are 6" long and the radius is 6inches. So what is the distance between the two legs? I can only have 6" at the most on my setup or it will drag the ground. Can someone please help me here?

Radius = the distance from a center line or point to an axis of rotation. or 1/2 the diameter.
so the distance is 12'' from leg to let. You can cut the u-bend and use the necessary pieces. you can make that a shorter bend by cutting it at an angle and welding it......

Yeah thats what I did with the downpipe I have now but it doesn't look to hot pieced like that and I would think that it has to be bad for the flow as well.

If you need a really tight bend RRE has donuts that are badass.

Also, your project might be low end but Burns Stainless is not. They are expensive however.

Probably flows better then a crush bent pipe!
I'm not complaining, i kind of like the welds, looks custom......oh wait it is huh ....
I've only seen one dp that looked good, it was on a sohc civic (posted on this board) and it was 3''....looked ******* sweet....no welds just a clean 3'' bend.....i still get wood thinking about it....
