Default making a downpipe

Okay, im picking up my mig welder tomorrow and im almost finished collecting my parts for my turbo, so now its time i finish buying my piping. My main question is, what do i need to make a downpipe?

Im getting this kit for my intercooler piping...and i thnk there should be enough to make the piping for my air filter as well...so what do you suggest for a Downpipe.

Intercooler piping:
The group buy will include 2.5" steel mandrel bent piping, black nitril couplers and stainless steel clamps. What you see in the photos below is what you'll be getting, which consists of 2 45's, 2 90's and 2 180's, six couplers and 12 clamps. This should be enough to complete turbo piping on almost any 4 cylinder vehicle.

The downpipe will go from a rehard mani w/ a t3/t04e w/ a 5 bolt exhaust fitting down to a high flow cat, 2.5" mandrel bent piping, to a 2.5" ES muffler all from Mkteller8. just any suggestions would help. if you suggest a flex pipe..could explain why...i dont necessarily understand the need for one...thanks for your help in advanced

Your dp stands a greater chance of cracking without a flexpipe. Also upgrade to t-bolt connectors...i blew off my shitty connectors withing a minute of boosting.

my buddy doesnt have a flex pipe on his and he breaks his piping every once in awhile. he just goes and gets it rewelded. but I say it would be worth the extra $20-30 for the flexpipe.

get i flex joint the first time around. If you don't at least make a brace for the tail end of the DP like the stock setup has. I didn't and have fixed it twice now

dude those IC connectors will work GREAT even with the clamps! I use them on my sol at 7psi.

I actually hate the ******* things because they stick so hard to the pipes and form that rubbery bond to them. They're a bitch to take off lol. But they work DAMN GOOD even with those clamps.

Do you have to contact them to buy the piping kit because I can't find them on their website? They claim they do not sell anything and what did you mean by group buy?

Just wanted to tell you for O2 bungs you can go to your local auto parts store where they have all the misc. stuff labeled HELP. There is a part called spark plug defoulers and they are the same thread size as an O2. You just cut off part of it to make a nut, works great and you get 2 for about $3.00

I get to make another downpipe because I smashed mine last night Parked in my friends driveway, some chick pulled up blocking the driveway, I decided to try leaving and backed down the driveway straight. I'm boosting about 2 PSI less now thanks to my new dent.
