I wouldn't listen to this troll. He has been on the site for 29 days, and averages 151 posts per day which equals no life! 4600 posts. He's almost has as many as I have on TR but I have been on there for over 2 years LOL!

(new to rsx chassis)

How come you bent the dp around the wastegate. Couldn't you have eliminated the sharp, rough, welded bend (pie cut) if you got a smaller or different dimensioned wastegate or modify the wg flange or pipe. This would allow better flow and a lot less welding.

I didn't build the manfold. There really isn't much room for the wastegate to be postioned elsewhere though. One thing that is tricky with the turbo setup on these cars is that you have to account for suspension and steering travel when choosing component location and pipe routing. I learned this the hard way on this car. Bascially build everything with the car fully lowered and the steering all the way to the right for the downpipe and wastegate dump routing and all the way to the left for I/C piping.

Good to know...

but could still have used say a turbonetics wastegate that doesnt have that huge top like the tial one, and gain that little bit of room to go straight?

I had already bought the WG , I wasnt gonna buy another WG then try to sell mine instead of having KJ do this work which he obviously handled very nicely!

People that have never worked on these cars will be suprised. As I was my first time and every time, lol. It's really a lot of fun

It's hard to believe that there isn't much room in the bay. You think honda would make it easier since they should know by now how much we love to strap on turbos and the like.

Is the RSX bay smaller than the bay of a 92-95 civic? Or is there just less room because of the size of the K motor?

I dont have measurements but I am sure I could get some. It's the size of the motor, positioning, all the wiring, brackets, A/C line, hard lines, etc.
