I cant seem to find the post....But why did somoene have a downpipe bolt like this?

somebody used that bolt, but in a different location, like the DP
I have done something similar, and yes its for easier access...

are you sure that this is a downpipe bolt. Cuz it's going into the back of the block?

might be a specific thing, but you can find a long bolt and put another nut on to simulate that style bolt. If it has to be a specific length , then you could tack weld the nut so that it stays stationary when you screw everything in.
relating to dp bolts. on a maxrev dp what do you use for the space where a bolt should go but is an extremely tight fit? the bottom bolt of the 4.
for the max rev downpipe you put a stud into the turbo and use a nut to secure it. You can use any stud from the head of a honda, as well as the nut.
those long bolts like shown in the picture are honda factory bolts that are on the exahaust, they are just brand new and dont have the spring on it like the exahust system has. at least thats what they appear to be theres a few other bolts in the engine bay that look like that as well.

The clearance on my downpipe was so tight that I had the bolt placed through the bottom right flange hole before the downpipe was welded to the flange. Now I can do it up (just like a normal bolt)...but I also can never remove the bolt completely.
One of the first things I do when I do a swap on one of my cars is yank that bracket off.. Its very annoying to work around, so I had a few of these bolts laying around.. Im always complaining about having to take the DP off whenever we need to.. so I used this bolt to make life easier. and so far its working.

bringing this back, but you mean the studs for either the intake or exhaust mani? anyone know where to get those exhaust bolts(aside from swiping it from mine or someone elses exhaust, and not paying nasty dealer prices.
