Well it's good enough for plenty of DSM's who are pretty much fast as hell good enough for me. Greddy is quality. Drag lacks that.. Greddy manifold hasn't cracked. Drag has quite a few cases. Deltagate needs replacement, internal wastegate works reliably up to it's limit of boost levels. Drag is a good bang for the buck but runs high fuel pressure usually resulting to purchase of bosch hp inline pump, greddy uses the poo poo box but it works for stock boost levels but costs more. FMU line popped off and now my engine is blown. Weigh the options in both kits not just the size of the turbo! There are pros and cons to both kits. I still like the drag but it's not the hottest kit out there, just well priced but it doesn't mean you are getting quality.

I'll take an SFP kit over a DRAG every day of the week... and twice in Sunday

Exactly!!
For me this is how I would rate the most popular kits:
SFP
Revhard
Drag
FMAX
Greddy

BTW, the Drag III has better manifold design than the previous gen and the fitment problems(for my car at least)were nonexistent. The only thng had a problem with was that half azzed ghetto check valve thing for the MAP sensor.

all kits are nice .........but as for the greddy, its a great kit but yes i think i'll be the first greddy supporter to say that the turbo really is too small. i mean look at importbuilders site with that t3/t04e with 12 psi pushing out 375 hp. my block will be 2.0 liters and with 12 psi i'm not gnona be anywhere near 375 hp with my turbo.....i compared the graph on that page to my friends greddy turbo with 10 psi with 240 to the wheels.....even though its b16 vs b20 and the b20 is running more psi...it stil had better torque starting from 3000 rpm..

Oh hell, I've been saying that for a long time now! It is way small, especially this TD04 they stuck in my kit, but for what it's for, can't beat the ease and respnse of the GReddy. If serious power is more your thing, GReddy is the last turbo you should be looking at. I'd like to lay down a presumtuous 220whp @12psi with the GReddy once I'm built, but after the new turbo, nothing shy of 300whp will do

and we should also consider not just peak hp, but useable hp - the entire area under the curve. the car who makes the most peak hp will not be the fastest car. and these greddy/drag fights are damn silly! both kits have their strengths/weaknesses. and the problem with both of them, i think, is fuel management.

Every fuel management system EXCEPT standalone is a problem. IMO

the first person said that TURBO LAG was a a downside to the DRAG TURBO KIT. I would like to know how serious is this lag? About what rpm do you DRAG KIT owners get boost? Also list what size turbo te/to4e or t3/to4b and a/r specs if available.

off th top of my head :
1. TURBO LAG
2. Delta wastegate
3. Chrome piping
4. Manifold

thats about it....for now....kinda steep 3 g's......greddykit w/ i/c and BOV about 2500.....no lag, good manifold...good piping internal w/g....and a good 200 hp at about 10psi
Greddy has a good manifold? hahaah hmmm ok. it performs just a little better than stock. good piping? hmmm ok. internal wastegates? hahah uhmm can we say 8track? why get an 8track when you can use CDs? come on now...

all these guys who know about DRAG kits are telling you exactly what the downsides are. use a better oil line and get a tial. enuff said. wanna see me smoke a LS using a Greddy kit running the same boost as me? wanna see me smoke any Greddy powered rice rocket? let me know...

I've pretty much been called out against a guy running a Greddy kit on a 99 Si w/ a head gasket(claimed 13.3 's). This weekend there may be a show down at the illegals if he's there. I pretty much 0wn any imports on the streets, and can handle *most* lightly-> moderately mod'd domestics. My car being a DRAG powered LS hybrid it ought to be intresting. Boosted B16 vs Boosted LS......
