Double headgasket...
Has anyone had any experience with using two stock head gaskets to lower comp. and be able to boost more? My friend gave me the idea but im kind of hesitant... I am running really good trap speeds on 9 lbs of boost stock comp...but I think I might be able to squeeze lower ets if i lower the comp and turn up the boost....

here's an idea why not just buy a thicker head gasket instead of stacking two?
or heres and even better idea, tune it better so you can run more boost
...
I heard this a while back from a few people and the more i think about it the more sense it makes

plus thicker headgaskets tend to create a hot spot on the top of tje cylinder which could make you a little more prone to detonation. I say just lower the comp via pistons.

i got a 95 turbo ls, that i used (2) stock headgaskets on. The big problem im having is that it raises the head just enough where your half a tooth off on you cam timing. adjustable cam gears is my next step. i'm running 10lbs with everything stock except 450cc injectors and i have no detenation what so ever. IF i can figure out this timing issue it will be a AAA+++
Us VW guys use this trick on the 4 cyls with zero probs. I know VWs and Hondas aren't the same at all. I don't think I'd want to use this method on a Honda. VWs have a poor cylinder head design (excluding the 20v) so running two gaskets doesn't affect anything. But in a precise engine like a VTEC, you'll probably be better off using a lower compression piston.

you should be fine up to about 12psi with a stock b18b with 1 stock head gasket.
