i don't know if it's specific, but i have a 3" thermal on my ls. i don't think it fits on the stock cat so i don't think it matters if you get a gsr or ls exhaust if there are 2. nothing a muffler shop can't fix if the exhaust is too long or short

 

So did you buy the thermal catback and a high flow cat with it?

Thermal does make an exhaust for the ls i have it...its the 2.25...im getting the 3' turbo cb this month 3' will not fit stock cat..2.25 will

 

yeah, you can buy a thermal 3 inch and a high flow cat if you have emission inspections. a lot of people with 3 inch exhausts run no cat

 

no cat? woah...won't that be loud as F&3K on the street?

 

it's not that bad. turbine quiets the exhaust sound. just imagine a na car with aftermarket exhaust. that's about what a 3 inch thermal sounds, but a lot deeper. for me, 3k-4k is where it's the loudest. anything below or above that rpm and it's not that bad use a 2.25-2.5 inch exhaust and it's quiet. this is all of course with closed wastegate because open wg is just loud

 

Thermal proviedes a special washer that muffles the sound alot...you just send the exhaust to thermal and they weld it in there for you
