Well, Im currently in the middle of building a custom turbo kit. I have the mani and turbo now. I am shooting for around 350whp and possibly more in the future... Im sportin the b16a2. Any how since pistons and rods are pretty much a necessity to make that amount of power I was thinking about purchasing a gsr short block and building a Poor mans type R with a 9.0:1 CR then boosting the 1.8L... That way I could buy pistons/rods for the gsr and put em in the block while it is allready out.. Swap that in then break in the pistons. then have my fun with the boostage.. That sound like it be worth the money and time? Thanks.

 

yeah, it's a good idea. I plan on doing something like that
