Default does this save $$$

does it save money to piece together a turbo setup as aposed to just buying a kit? some people i have talked to said it is an agrivating process getting everything needed, and putting it together and its better to just buy a kit.

sometime the answer is yes and no. It all depends if you buy used parts or brand new parts. There are many factors that comes into play

tell us how much power your looking for and that will pretty much determine it. i mean if alls your looking for is 250whp or so theres no sense in buying a full race kit or anything. one route is to piece together and another rout is to buy a used kit.

I pieced together my kit w/ almost all used parts and I am very happy with it. I have a grand total (including the price of the car) of $3500. Some wil spend almost that on just a kit.
