Default Does anyone have the TurboXS Boost Controller?

On the instruction it says to turn the screw 3 times first to raise it 1 psi and every other turn after that raises it 1 psi marginally. So I followed the instructions and turned it 3 times only to find out that i was boosting 10 psi when I am suppose to be boosing 6.5 psi based on the instructions. I'm not sure if they instructions are inaccurate or if my boost gauge is off

u have to turn it until u get the base setting, which is the boost of the spring. then from there its just 1 rotation per psi.

adjust it according to the boost guage.

Be careful with that 1 turn equals 1 psi... on mine it is more than one psi. I love the boost controller though... just have to get used to it.

I usually give mine a half-turn when I turn it up. That's usually closer to 1psi.....

I did the same thing. Wanted to turn it to 7 psi and ended up at 10. Played around with it for a few hours and now I can work it like a champ. Just play around with it, half-turn here, then back then 3/4 turn and back. You will figure it out.

I have that same boost controller but I have the TurboXS hp with a greddy turbo kit and I have found that the boost will fall from its seet peak. I was running about 10psi of boost, it would stay there for a short period of time then fall to about 8 psi. (all in 3 or 4 gear at the track) never doubt your boost gauge they usually dont lie. for me 3/4 turn on coarse setting was a bout 1 psi, up to about 8 psi than only 1/2 turn for one psi to get to 10 psi.

Well I ran my TurboXS Hig Perf controller also and it was set for around 15 and it hit 15 and wouldn't let it go any further, but at about 6000-6500 ropm it fropped to 14lbs. but other thatn that the controller is awesome in all of my experiences. Hope this helps.

Later,

Sean C.
