Default does anyone have piping running from wastegate to the downpipe?

i'm wondering if anyone makes this or has one so i have an idea on how to do it. Right now the wastegate is just letting extra exaust into the engine bay.. this is no good cause its too hot in there to begin with.. If anyone has pictures or experiences doing this it would be greatly appreciated...

You can get a peice of tube made at a muffler shop. You know that running with the wastegate open gives more power right? Why dont you just get a tube to run the exhaust from the WG underneath the car

Cheap pep-boys 1.5" flex pipe will get it under your car no problem, but I don't know where SlowB16 gets his information. There is no power difference between open wastegate and a PROPERLY built closed-loop setup.

judas priest, ozzy, sabbath, iron maiden, kiss - just match the grade of steel to the flange you are ysing for the wg dump, low carbon steels weld easiest.

? An open wastegate dumptube would promote quicker spool even compared to a 'properly designed' closed loop system, no ?

agree, just use the dump-tube. it would be a pain in the *** to get a closed dump tube mounted on now. you would need to remove the downpipe.

i used to run a closed dump tube and the car was a little too quiet.
