i have probably 25,000 miles on mine and about half of that was with a 12:1 FMU on my turbo setup with 12lbs of boost and I never had one problem with the pump, also it took no more then a half hour to put in

are you going to use a FMU? I hope not. But if you are, you're supposed to use an inline fuel pump.

If not, at 7 psi..dont' sweat it. I hope yuo're getting larger injectors than those dinky 3100cc greddy injectors.

problems dont come form the 255 it comes from the 255hp, and all of those problems are from people who really didnt need an HP in the first place and only have the stock regulator and cant bring the pressure down

hmm...I haven't heard anything bad about the 255. I've been using one for the last 15,000miles at 13-15psi and still working great.

yea i know the install is easy. im not talking about the 255 high pressure one though. ill be using greddys fmu at 7psi and stock injectors. the kit doesnt come with injectors. this is going on my 93 hatch. i know getting the pump shouldnt hurt anything, but is it really need for 7psi?

I've used the walbro 255hp and an FMU on 10psi never had any problems. Only reason i'm replacing it because i upgraded to stand-alone.
