Default do u use a gasket between the turbo and downpipe?

i've looked to see if anyone sells a gasket but no luck.

Just get Copper RVT gasket maker.....works like a charm, any autozone/pepboys etc. has it

i just bolted it to the turbo, no gasket, no sealant, no problems here.

I was told none was needed. No leaks so far on my setup.

i use to. it got burnt. lol i used the gasket material that comes in a big sheet from napa. it was like 30 bucks

if you that **** about it...homedepot sells some copper sheeting....use a hammer to make an outline...then using a screwdriver...cutout the sheet...the stuff is really soft but can take the high temps

how big of a gap will the exhaust leak out of? Is .02 thou to big of a gap?

I can just stick a .02 feeler gauge in one spot exteremly snug, nothing else on any other parts of the snail

I dont use one, but was thinking that it would probably lose boost from leak at the wastegate hole if its not sealed correct, so I might get one from here, http://www.forcedfab.com

I needed one because I'm only using 4 out of 5 bolts and it was leaking a little so I got my 5 bolt dp gasket from http://www.roadraceengineering.com.
