Looking at either the
RC 310's or 440's for my GSR Drag set up...

How many horses do the 440's push...and i can get rid of my Vortech FMU when i get the injectors right?

 

440's should handle to 400 hp i believe , and if you dont adjust the injecter duty then you wont idle at all , so yes it does

 

I maxed out my 440s at 344whp. You have to get a standalone ie: hondata or aem to even use 440s and then you can get rid of the fmu. Simply adding bigger injectors doesn't allow you to dump the fmu. Without engine management your car WILL NOT run with the 440s. Larry

 

what about RC 440 injectors and a apexi vafc?? w/ the rc440 and vafc can you get rid of the vortech fmu??

I had my DSM's hooked up w/o a fuel conrtoller (We were testing something) and the car idled like complete **** and would barely rev. If your lookin for something cheap, I suggest going with uberdata. But yea, with the afc that will sut back fuel on the injectors, allowing the car to idle and rev smoother. Don't forget to retard the timing.

Running 440cc injectors w/ a VAFC has been done before and does work well...not as well as a standalone unit, but will work w/ any set up... you just need to get it dyno tunned in order to let your ecu accept those big of injectors.
