do i need datalogging?

Default do i need datalogging?

i've read on hondata.com what it is but i don't understand it. will i need datalogging? i won't be tuning myself. what is it exactly?

I would say that if you are planning on racing the car on the track and you want to know what the car is doing, then yes I would get it. If you are not worried about it, and just want to go off of what your tuner tells you, then you won't need datalogging. Datalogging basically allows you to log air intake temps, timing, pounds of boost, redline, etc. which is beneficial to those on the track so they can make adjustments accordingly.

when you say "log", u mean in a computer?

S100=tune by tuner
S200=tune by self or tuner

?

I have kpro...basically same thing. I use my datalogging quite a bit. Just to make sure everything is going well under boost while at the track.

I had mine tuned by the guys at VSV in Dallas, Texas

If I adjust anything, it's maybe ignition when/if I put higher octane at the track.

Go with the S200. Eventually if you ever decide you want to tune your car you can use the s200 while s100 you will need to upgrade.

That link is correct, s200s now come standard with datalogging.
to hondata for hooking us all up with that.
