Im going to build a 300whp sohc so far i have ( Garrett t3/t4 60trim,fmic, tial wastegate, tuner toy rod, and weisco pistons, and new crank). The main thing is the head what do i need to make the head strong and also make power. I need some help on the parts i need to get, and what is the most importain thing i need to do so any help would be great thanks Dustin

 

CAM....no "s" SOHC (Single Over Head CAM)

You need to get head studs (ARP will do) and a cam wouldn't hurt, but you can do it on the stock head otherwise if you budgeted
