In the moment I´m at building a lot of B series blocks.
When I assemble all my blocks, I carefully check everything - also the small end and big end rod weights and the pistons weight too before I balance the cranks.
Yesterday I noticed a differene of 3.5gramm on the small end side from the heaviest to the lightest rod in 1 set of rods (crower econ).
An other rod had a difference of 1.6gramm to the lightest one.
Just two rods had exactly the same weights - the lightest ones.
I also noted the same in point of the JE pistons that I choose. There I had a difference of 1.5gramm.
Then I machined everything to have the same wights.
What are your experiences?
