Default The difference in Turbos

Does anyone know the difference to T1. T2, T3 and a T4 turbo?

those are different size flanges where they bolt to the manifold.

they are different sizes. There are no T1's or T2's that I know of. It goes T15 (you'll never use this) T25, T3, T04 (housing hybrid), T4. Many people combine sections like a small T3 turbine section (the exhaust side) and a bigger T04 compressor side (the intake side). Sizing a turbo is necessary so you get either minimal lag or good top end power. Usually people sacrifice a little of both to get a good power band. Keep searching and read up on people's setups

?...doesn't make sense dude

You could do a tiny *** T25 setup and reach full boost at like 2000 rpm, but your top end would suck big ***, so no good for racing. READ UP!

Thanks for the answer. T25. That is what I want. Full spool by 2000K I am working on something else. Just gathering small facts, peice by peice.

i have a T25 from a S13 that i thought about using. now it's just sitting in my room collecting dust.
