Difference between Turbonetics 60-1 HiFi and 60-1 Regular?
Anyone know the difference between the Turbonetics HiFi 60-1 and regular 60-1? I'm told that the HiFi will fit on a T3 exh. manifold and is made with T4 internals fit into a T3 exh. housing. Will it boost better than any T3/T4? Will it be as good as a straight T4? What is the whp range of the HiFi?

look at the turbonetics compressor map for the two turbos, I had one built / copied for me with a couple of changes mine is a T60-2, the estimated HP it is good for is 780BHP - a number that is impossible to attain on my motor, fits t3 flange, sorry I dont have my catalogue with me at work to tell you exactly. this is a sick sick sick sick turbo for only heavily modified cars, pain in the *** to drive on the street. tangental t4 with some mixed up wheels might be better for the street.

Thanks Rtype11..It's for a drag race only motor operating between 5000-9500 rpm. My current T3/T4 is just not making enough power (440 whp) but I love my exhaust manifold with it's T3 flange. I'm looking for about 520 whp with my current B18C set-up. I'm trying to figure out how to read compressor maps now. I hope the T-60 is the answer?
