I believe precision turbos are based off of garrett technology but precision uses their own housings. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

You are for the most part are right. But when you say Garrett technology it refers to Garrett's newest technology of GT series which the T04E family is not.

Now, a Turbonetics 57 trim is the same thing as a precision 57 trim. The major difference is the people who build them and the housings. Its like would you want a mom and pop shop building your motor or tony from jotech. I hope you say Tony because he does things to perfection.

Now, I dont know what is going to happen because turbonetics is no loger a Garrett performance distributor like Precision is. There are only, I think, 4 Garrett performance distributors.

Precison's turbos come with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty, ported housing and 360deg. thrust bearing.

If you are looking to get a 61mm GT40 compressor wheel that comes in the SC61 Precision is the only one that has that, so far.

turbonetics will not have a 61mmGT wheel because Garret cut them off.

turbonetic turbos are cool...when you watch them build it and have them do everything right...like i did. diesel shop ordered all the parts seperately and did the building themselves right in front of me.
