CEL Code 13 (Baro Sensor) V-AFC Hack
Running the hack now. Gotta say, everything I heard before I did it is true. Car runs great now. Cept for the stupid CEL. Its on and throwing the Code 13 - Barometric Sensor.
I read an old post about it and nobody knew what to do. Any ideas on how to fix it? Anyone figure it out already?
Is this problem on with V-AFC or are the S-AFC included as well?
Thanks for the input.

this code pops up b/c the map sensor voltage is adjusted/corrected and the baro isn't getting the same reading. it doesn't put your car into limp mode (timing or fuel) so i wouldn't worry about it. just periodically scan/check your codes to make sure you haven't gotten anything else.
my hack car runs great also and i get baro too. no problems on almost 4500 boosted miles.

i just keep it on all the time, just a nice little reminder that i'm ghetto for using the hack
do what the other guy suggested and periodically check to see if you have any other codes and if you really don't like the cel light, put some tape over it or something, hehe.

Thats true, I was obd2, ever since I switched to obd1 I never got a CEL for 13 or even the misfires I used to get all the time either. OBD1 is amazing

is there a way to chip ecu/pcm into ignore the baro sensor or something like that?
though if might not be worth the effort, and i could save the time/money and get Hondata or AEM EMS. just a thought...

we have had this code since day 1 on my brothers 1989 4 dr civic. We converted it from auto to manual when we dropped the b18 in so I wonder if this has something to do with it?
Now we have 10, 13, and 14
I guess some wires came loose over the winter.
Edit: We are running the SMC +. Its cheap, and very effective for the 7psi that he runs.
