Default Did comp./ leakdown test. . .help me out.

Well today I tested my compression since the last time I had the pistons installed and it was 185 alll the way across the board (SRP 9.1 CR) today cylinder 1,3,4 got 150 and cylinder 2 got 125. As for the leakdown cylinder 1 and 4 got 2%, 3 got 6%, and 2 got 9%. Sounds like my head gasket is gone/going and the rings may be partially loosing compression in cylinder 2. Any ideas or input would be appreciated.

Easier said then done. I have to work, go to school, and unnfortunately need something to get me to those places. It would be a little different if it only took a couple of minutes. I'm just trying to get info. before I have to eventually pull the head.

When you did the leakdown... could you hear where the air was going? Four choices: exhaust valves, intake valves, out of the oil filler cap/past the rings, or the cooling system. Listen for air leakage from the intake, exhaust or open the oil filler cap, or open the cooling system cap and look for bubbles. This will obviously give you a great deal of information...

Yup.. leakdown tests are wonderful things, you can usually find out exactly why/how you're losing compression..

Nope I havent been boosting for the last week, but these are the SRPs I had in my motor while the turbo was on. Yes we did try to listen for air in the throttle body, where the dip stick goes and the oil filler ca. We also looked for bubbles in the coolant. . .its hard to hear 2-9% leakage.

I kept losing compression also. I had to bore it out to 3.209" and deck the block and head. buy a junker to get you thru the rebuilding days. happily boosting after 3 rebuilds.
