dial indicator, which are you using for rods?

i have a summit rod stretch gauge, but apparently the spring in the dial indicator sucks and won't hold the assembly up, so i have to get a dial indicator with a stiffer spring. there's no one local that has them so i can't test them in person. which ones are you using?
