Re: CT26 on a honda?
People in mr2 s make over 300 whp with the ct20b which is designed for the mr2. Mr2 also uses ct26 but a completely different version. You can get an mr2 ct26 with wastgate for under two hundred. I paid $75 shipped for mine and it boosts to 16psi all day long on the mr2.
The ceramics can fail but only if you try to push them over 16psi.
Are you asking because you have a Supra ct26 close by? I do not think they work well even on an mr2.

Re: CT26 on a honda?
if you go to mr2oc.com and check the 1/4 mile registry there are a few people hitting Mid 11's stock motor stock turbo on a Gen 3 which uses the 20b. Can rework the mr2 ct26 to get into the twelves. Cheap and good turbo. I plan to upgrade mine to the ATS Racing ct27 which put down 325whp and 340tq. in a mr2.

yea but you need to build a manifold and downpipe to bolt up to it. Then your stuck with that style turbine housing. If you EVER want to upgrade which 99% of people do, you need to at least cut the flange off the header AND the downpipe and make sure everything lines up. Plus your buying a different turbo.
IMO, people need to build their cars planning for the future. If your on a budget, fine, get a used T3 style turbo. Get an old SC44 for $300 or something. At least you can upgrade in the future without having to rip everything apart.

The only reason I was asking is because I have a couple laying around from my dads supra and I've been wanting to turbo my car for a while. I was only thinking about running 8 psi maybe 10 psi later on. If I can't find t3/t4 then I might just use this turbo.

the actual compressor is fairly minor in the cost of turboing a honda. i'll be in mine roughly $4000 all said and done and the compressor was only 675
not only do i agree about planning for the future but take into consideration the rest of the parts
