Detonation...need help please
Well, turns out that detonation has started happening for some reason. Temperatures have risen slightly outside. It was dyno tuned with no knock happening.
Setup:
F23 stock internals
9.8:1 CR
T3/T4
large FMIC
Water Injection
85-90 deg weather
on 6 psi it is fine
on 9 psi detonation starts at 4k rpms, on load of course
Tuner said that with water inj it is like running higher octane fuel. Thus he leaned out the mixture as per Turbonetics recomendations. Everything went well and no knock.
Here is the Dyno and A/F graph.
Red Lines are at 9 psi, Blue are at 6 psi

Is it way too lean in the high end?
Thanks much

you should be about a full point richer for most of your map. And you start detonating around peak torque, you may be running a little bit too much timing advance to be safe.
Over 13:1 AFR on pump gas is NOT safe.

even with water injection i wouldn't go leaner than 12.5:1. If it's detonating even with the water injection, that means your intercooler/turbo setup is pretty efficient, i've seen water injection systems give 0 HP gain on a dyno, but i've seen them give lots, because they lower the actual air intake temps... it really varies on the setup of how much Water injection helps...
Now if you switch to an alky/water or meth... then you'd be getting somewhere
