Default determining tial wastegate size?

like the title says.... what determines the size of the wasgate i would need? i plan for 350 whp with a gt30R.

the most control is required at low boost settings as the wastegate need to vent more exhaust gas to maintain the lower boost.
Due to the mass flow of your engine Id say either a 44mm gate to a 46mm gate would do fine. We use 44mm gates on our busa engine and have no problem maintaining 6 psi thru redline. This is also with big turbine housings for our engine size.

A 44 is overkill, I doubt he'll have any trouble holding boost low with a 38mm gate.

you can get a nice ebay gate that's larger for less...go as big as you want really...the bigger the better for the lower boost you run
