Default Deshroud chambers?

Did some searching, came up with nothin on this topic. I'll be getting a LS head by the end of the week (thank you sweet!), and the eventual build will be a benson-sleeved 84mm LS. Just wondering what people's (hopefully educated and not blind) opinions are on whether i should have DPR deshroud the chambers to match the bore when they work on the head. Thanks for the (hopefully educated) replies!

i'll have to wait until i hit the final tuning session (which won't be until later in the spring) but i'll be running at least 12 psi with geoff's kit, possibly 15 depending on power figures (don't want 'em too high, i like traction ). i'm not sure yet if i'll be doing dan's pocket or stage IV port job. there's a lot that's undecided at this point; but then, i know if i set stuff in stone i'll just change it a month from now anyway. the givens are at least 12 psi with the full race kit, on a b18a fully built (manley rods and wiseco pistons are definites).

Personally, I dont think that you would get the full benifit of it. Just not worth it to me, except on high HP aplications. Your kit is capable of making allot of power, its really up to you. Personally I would not do it.

How much compression are you going with? Because you will be reliveing some points by opening up the combustion chamber, but i say go for it, because its not going to cost you a great deal of money anyways and just makes things more efficent. Its all about a smooth transitition.
