I have a 99 gsr with je piston eagle rod and block guard. today I installed my injectors, fuel pump, and my digital 6. okay heres what happened...I took off from a light today...when i shifted to second...and it start boosting around 3600 rpm not having a missing link yet..and the map sensor started to read boost and it cut the fuel...as soon as it did that i heard a big bang from under the hood. sounded like a fire cracker. but it still drove normal after..can anyone tell me what that can be? should i b worried?

 

why did you try to hit boost when you knew your map sensor would read it and go all wacko??!!

What injectors and what engine management?

 

maybe he just had something like an intake backfire?

 

that was yur vteck solonoid bursting, any vtech fluid spray under the hood?

just messin, man it doesnt sound good and unfortunetly i cant help ya, but good luck and bump for yur problem.

no. everything still seems to be intach

 

If everything is still normal and theres nothing falling off, i wouldnt worry about it.
