Ok, someone just told me that with the deltagate, the spring sets the absolute
maximum boost, and that you can only lower it with a boost controller.. not increase it. I thought it was the other way around..

Anyone with a Deltagate+EBC tell me exactly the facts?

The spring determines the max boost without a boost controller. When you add a boost controller, it manipulates the w/g to keep it closed longer to build more boost. A boost controller cannot make the w/g open sooner, and thus cannot lower boost.
