Default DEI's Cryo2 Intake system

I searched and I didn't really find anything. I was looking through the latest Modified when I saw an article about DEI's new intake cooling system. Does anyone have any experience with it? It seems like a pretty good idea for both turbo'd and SC'd cars. It seems like it would do a lot of good on JRSC'd cars because it will cool the incoming air by as much as 50 degrees (claimed). Anyone have any experience with one? Here's a pic for reference:

It will work, sure. Looks like a quality expansion valve, works like a refrigerator.

But I would never suggest ever NEEDING something like this to keep the motor running, because what happens when you run out of refrigerant?
