Default Debating the switch from supercharger to turbo

Currently I'm running a JRSC @ 11psi with AEM SRI, DC Header, and catback exhaust. Fuel wise I have RC 370s and a Walbro 255 tuned with a V-AFC II. This setup put down 220whp on the dyno on a very hot and humid day.

I'm figuring with the car how she is right now I'd prolly be able to pull off mid to high 13s beating it up. I want more.

I am pondering the thought of a Drag Turbo Kit with the t3/t4 57 trim. The engine right now has stock rods with wiseco stock compression pistons. What boost level can I achieve safely on this setup and what kind of numbers should I expect out of it realistically tuned with the same V-AFC II?

BTW.. I tried searching on DRAG and could not find what I was looking for.

red this and all i have to say is DO IT. If you switched to a drg kit and ran around the same boost levels you should make around 250whp... if not more. i would suggest doing something along the lines of the t-3/to4E with a 60+trimed wheel. you will be very happy with it. the drag kits ar nice but you would probibly have more luck with peicing together something yourself. good luck and do some research before jumping into things.

don't forget that there are other options (dare i say better) than the drag kit. also, just my opinion here...but a 60 trim is too big for the street, they just aren't fun. if you don't belive me you can buy mine so i can go get a 54 or 57.

I'm aware of other options but I'm thinking the Drag kit is probably the most cost effective being 2600 shipped right now.

Can you get 300whp with the t3/t4 57trim with my above mentioned setup reliably? How much boost would you guestimate and is this safe on stock block except wiseco pistons?

i believe i saw peakboost kits a little while back going for around the same price.

to answer you question, its nice that the motor has some form of forged internals but with the rods being stock i wouldnt push to hard on the hp goal, granted the ring lands are mostly the waekest part on a stock honda motor the rods really arent that far behind in durability.

focus on the tune and correct delivery of fuel then see what your motor can handle, a good tuner should know what is going to be "safe" for your motor.

quick question, why only piston's and no aftermarket rods ???

Because I cracked 2 pistons with the supercharger running lean before I managed the fuel and tune. At the time I wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I just replaced the pistons with aftermarket instead of building the block.
