Default Dealing with wheelspin in a turbo car?!?!?

This is my first turbo car. Ive never really had a fast car before now so im not used to the wheels breaking loose in the middle of the gear.

1st and 2nd the wheels spin when i hit full boost.

Honestly honda-tech.. honestly.....should i let it bounce of the rev limiter a couple times and then shift? My tuner set the new rev lmiter at 7600.

Get stickier tires (i.e. drag radials) or turn down the boost in 1st and 2nd gear.

you learn real fast how to shift a turbo honda, at least i did. i got stickier tires but at 650whp it spun hard either way.

Once you realize how much your tires will cost you will learn to feather it to control it...in due time you will learn.

It's all about throttle modulation. Try not to ride the rev limiter, you'll get the hang of it

You really don't need drag radials they are expensive and don't handle very well(on the street), plus they wear out really fast. I run general Exclaims on my 300whp setup with traction bars and a Apexi AVCR gear based boost controller (6psi in 1st, 8 for 2nd, then 10 for the rest). No spin unless you make it. My buddy drives daily on the same setup as mine but 428whp and has minimal spin. If you don't want to spend the money for an AVCR you could do a TurboXS dual stage. I don't know if your ecu program will tie into it but I know Neptune does.
