Default Darton Sleeves?

i read somewhere that darton has replacement sleeves that will hold like 15-16 psi, and theyre like a direct replacement, anyone ever heard or know about these? theyre supposed to be like $40 a sleeve, and theyre the same ductile iron as their performance sleeves. does anyone know about these, and what do u know?

yeah, they are like the darton juniors. i have seen 30psi thru those also by the way and they held up fine. they just arent closed deck or the same thickness. we use the auto race sleeves in our h22 race car and made 689 whp.

on a closed deck block a sleeve is a sleeve to me. on an h22 you basically have an 1/8 inch solid ductile sleeve no matter who you use. we have boosted 30psi ont he autorace sleeves without any issue with the sleeve. the installationis another story . just make sure whoever installs them does it right and they will handle whatever you can throw at them.

I can have this done for you.
Basically just taking out the stock sleeve and re-installing the Darton sleeve which is the same ductile iron and a little thicker then stock.

ok, so does the block need to be machined to fit these, or are they direct replacement? thanks alot for the help.

I would suggest the closed deck sleeves for any open deck honda.....or your block basically.
Prices are up there, but more than worth it. PM me for prices.
