so youre saying dart intentionally developed and sold this block knowing that there isnt a timing belt that would work on it ????

goto the autoparts store and pick up a timing belt.

instead of being an *** to him you could possibly find a part number for the timing belt, ask him what part number the belt is that he has...

with that said, do you have the correct belt? what part number do you have , and what part number does dart call for?

im not being ***. dont get mad at me because you ask stupid questions.

i do not own a dart block so how would i know what honda timing belt fits on it. it isnt hard though to figure out how many teeth are on the one he has now and then look at other honda timing belts and how many teeth they have to find one that fits.

yes dart sold the block w/out knowing the correct part # for this setup. It took a week for them to get back with me for a new timing belt that worked. the first one went on but was way way to tight, the secons one goes on but no tentioner adjustment.

This is not hard. You just need to think out of the box.

Timing belts are *generic* items with specific uses. You *can* get a timing belt of X width and Y tooth count (length), just sit down with a Gates manual or a decent parts guy at something other than a chinese part wholesaler like Autozone/Pep Boys - although you sometimes find decent parts guys there, too.
