Re: new b18c1 turbo build (oneracer)
save the money on the port and polish its not going to make a world of a difference and besides that you can spend the money elsewhere. trust me for 400whp you don't need a port and polish your just spending more money that could be used elsewhere. why not use the money and get your block sleeved just to have that piece of mind? 400 is possible on your stock sleeves don't get me wrong. would I advise it? thats another question. stay away frpm any egay parts, you thank yourself in the long run or short run which ever comes first. also, I would bump your comp up to 9.0.1 it won't take as much to get you where you want.

Re: new b18c1 turbo build (oneracer)
The sleeves get a mixed review all the time. I chose to spend the extra grand and have it done mainly for that extra piece of mind but also what the future holds. I may get the itch to buy a larger turbo or simply crank it up. Either way, it's built for it. My opinion is to spend the money on building the block as best as possible. Intakes, etc. can be bolted on in the backyard anytime. Having to remove the engine again is just a pain and cost more in the long run.
I see you listed some traction items. What about an LSD? I don't see it listed and at 400hp, you'll want one.
One side note, I've seen people try to get extra $$ by selling Type R parts. In regards to the oil pump, GSR or Type R.....exact same part.
The options are endless but having a solid foundation is key.
