If it's a daily driver and you don't ever plan on having to drive on snow, I would go with a nice set of summer tires. Obviously your best option for traction without running slicks would be a drag radial, but those aren't going to last very long daily driven. I think a good set of summer tires would be an ok compromise between longevity and street traction. Maybe look into something like an Azenis or other "ultra high performance" summer tire. Whatever you do, stay away from "touring" and "all-season" tires.

I'm running Falken Azenis and i LOVE THEM!!! They will only last about 12,000 miles or so but they grip really well. Plus driving on them they feel like normal tires...no road noise or vibration. I'm making 313whp 227wtq on 10psi and i have all of 2nd gear. Size is 205/50/R15

I currently daily a set of BFG KDW2 drag radials, but i used to run Falken Ziex 512s. If i had to get a street tire, my only choice would be a set of Falken Azeni RT615s.

Re: Daily driver Tire setup question (accord99power)
well if you want the most traction (in dry pavement im assuming) for a daily, i would go with any "extreme performance" tire in tirerack. The downside is most of them dont have very long tread life and horrible in rain.
I'm personally going to be getting some goodyear f1 gs-d3's for the simple reason that i can sacrafice a little dry performance for wet conditions.
but this should really be in the tire/wheel forum

I've DD'd Toyo RA-1's. They are R-compounds, but they work well on the street and last for a bit. 10x better than the RT-615's that I used to drive.

They are great and they also look great with the right rim offset. I love how mine stick out past the fender just enough.

I miss my old drag radials.
I currently rock a pair of 225/45/17 BFG G-Force drag radials...
