oh man I can't wait to see the replies to this one...search button is your friend!
seriously though, its pretty straight forward
remove exhaust manifold
replace with turbo manifold /turbo
replace fuel pump
replace fuel injectors
install intercooler and run charge piping
install engine management
tune
if you have a specific question email me at Joe@ondemandperformance.com I'm in the shop monday-friday 9-5 and I check my email twice a day
also if you post what type of "full kit" you bought maybe someone has instructions

Re: D16y8 Turbo kit Install?
your going to need engine management...bare minimum a safc and map sensor clamp...but I would look into... chrome, neptune, or if you have cash hondata, aem, etc.
the boost controller only controls boost, you can't "tune" anything other than boost pressure
your going to need something that can control fuel and ignition maps
read the post linked by jdm inc...pretty good write up on the basic mechanics of installing the kit

Re: D16y8 Turbo kit Install?
I would suggest taking it some were to get tuned, And try to find someone with eCtune to tune it, Really good software. Oh and before you put that turbo kit on go out and get some ARP headstuds if you haven't all ready or when you go to get it tuned if your over 180 WHP your gonna pop your headgasket. 225 WHP is prolly the safe point for stock D Series with just headstuds.

Re: D16y8 Turbo kit Install?
if you have pistons and rods your car will handle more than that. A STOCK D16 with just ARP Headstuds can handle 225WHP. So i'm not sure your max. And i just thought of something if your running a Y8 then your prolly running OBD2. eCtune is only for OBD1 i'm pretty sure.
