does anyone ever turbo these with the stock intake manifold and head, if so what are the results?

the flow on the stock d16y7 intake manifold is terrible. It is a bad design for airflow because of the angle....You are way better off going with a y8 manifold or a z6

i got a turboed y7 swap a y8 mani on they are good motors for boost just get it ,tuned

I'm already asking there too, but the y7 is really repelling people from giving me answers

I got this car real cheap with no rust ,but a few mechanical problems. thought I was getting a deal, but with it being obd-2 dx with a y7 now its become more of a pain in the *** I really wish my se-r didn't have cancerous rust.

so just sawping manifolds will work what other parts are involved I'm sure TB and throttle cable ,but what about sensors and stuff. if it takes too much I might as well go b series swap.

BTW I only want that crappy exhaust manifold to pass emmisions so I can get some stickers on this thing

im running a y7 w/ stock internals @ 8 psi daily driven and it was doing great until low oil pressure screwed my bearings. other than that, it ran great for me.

i use to have a y7 on 13 psi with a t25 with just arp headstuds...450cc injectors ran good until i sold it
