D16Y5 Boosted
I did a search of recent and archived post on turboing this bastard stepchild of a motor and was wondering has anyone boosted this thing?? I would rather this topic stay on topic and not venture off into why would you wanna boost THAT or get a swap. I have already read enough of that. Just want to see what kind of numbers people are putting down (if any) and how satisfied they are (if at all).
I have already begun my quest. I am going to change out the I.M. and the tranny first, then start with the turbo related items

It has been done.
problem is with the VTEC-E system in the Hx only one intake valve completly opens, and one only partially under 3000 rpms(which can vary some depending on throttle position)
So, if you have a small turbo that gets boost below 3k rpms that could be a restriction, if not well it shouldn't hurt you too much.
Hx also has a wideband O2 sensor stock that you may be able to tap off of for accurate A/F readings.
Don't think it has been done but it would be cool.

I'd say as a low boost FMU or ERL mf2 setup it might be easily acheiveble. There's absolutley no reason why you couldn't (that I can think of).
The valves closing are no big deal, they keep the velocity up when airflow is low. I'm not sure if this car is "hackable". That, you'd have to find out from someone else. Good luck
