D16 Zex Nitrous Build up question BIG SHOT
I was thinking about building a d16 Nitrous motor. I already have the major bolt ons but im really wanting to get into the 13s bad. Now i think a Zex kit is the easiest way. I also want to stick with my d16y7. I was thinking about upgrading my rods to maybe crower or eagles and install a 255 fuel pump. What is the max shot it would handle without blowing with that done. Think a 100 shot is possible with the upgraded rods?

if you wanna run a big shot right, get a direct port kit.
if your upgrading the rods, do the pistons at the same time and you'll have no problem with a 100shot from a direct port kit.

ZEX 55 shot, stock Z6, 13.97 first pass down the track.
ZEX 75 shot on stock Z6, walbro 255 pump, TOO FPR mod, 13.27
Current setup will run 12's, once I get a clutch to hold the power.

20x8x14 slicks, STOCK motor.
the 85 shot reguired Ford injectors.
Finally get money, my clutch is out of stock, go figure.

I know EXACTLY how that is, finally got money for my quaife, then had to wait like 6months for it.

I was worse, I bought the Kaaz LSD, waited 9 months to install it!!!!!!!
I waited till I broke a 1-2 shifter fork before pulling the tranny.

I ran 100 shot with my ZEX kit. You need some type of engine management and bigger injectors.
