Default d16 greddy kit question

i'm planning to put a d16z6 in a 94 civic cx.
after that i want to put a greddy sohc kit(92-95 emanage with intercooler)

-what is the stock psi the emanage will be running at?
-is there a way i can raise the boost and know what psi i'm at and how safe it is?
-how can i tune the emanage?
-what is the safest psi to run on stock d16z6 and safest when fully built internally

1)5.5 psi
2)Boost controller
a) manual boost controller
b) electronic boost controller
3)Buy the support tool and a wideband O2
4) Stock around 230 whp is safe and reliable, even though i have seen 300whp on stock bottom ends. As for a fully built engine, how big of a turbo can you put on there, there really isnt a limit if you have the funds and time.

Greddy kits are worhtless in my opinion because you can't upgrade them without spending a crap load of money. If you need it for the carb sticker, then I guess your stuck with that or the overpriced edelbrock kit.

Kind of a broad statement there though..If someones not looking to go all out and just wants a quick street car these kits work great...I have used both 15 and 18g kits and both were perfectly sized turbos for the motors I had them on....

I just like to plan for upgrade as much as possible. People always say they just want "this much" power, but they always end up wanting more. Turbo kits and cars are expensive so anytime you can save a few bucks it's worth it if you ask me. The greddy kits have a small DP, not the best fuel management, and the manifold is useless if you want a bigger turbo like a t3/t4. The 15g is pretty small in my opinion. I wouldn't want anything smaller than what I have now (t3 60 trim .60/.48).

not everyone has the same goals i have the greddy kit and love it! spools fast and is a great street car! yeah a few things you could do bigger dp(50 at a muffler shop) the manifold does need to be ported and if its on a d16 you can always upgrade to the 18g and you said it has shitty fuel manigment hahah dude if you gonna stick with something liek that your dumb! we all crome and all that is the way to go anyways call this worthless if you want also! Here's a guy from WA that is running the Greddy Kit, running 12.0et on stock motor. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1356768

Are you talking to me?

I was just saying he should be a man and build a good custom kit, it will be cheaper and a lot more upgradable. If he wants to spend more money and not have a good turbo kit then go for it. The only good thing I see about the greddy kit is the carb legal sticker.

i think its a good first kit... i had it for about 3 years and loved it.

but now with my friends boosting their dual cams, i need more power to at least hang around them...

the lack of upgrading realllly sucks, but it lasted me 3 years without any problems.

ups and downs i guess. do some research before jumping into anything...

For your goals the greddy is perfect...You can always get good deals on used kits, and even the new ones are not that expensive..I had one on my 94 dx coupe with a d16z6 and the car was trapping between 108-110 on about 10-11 psi of boost with a half shitty slipping clutch at that....A good clutch and slicks and the car was going 12.5 all day....I am sure thats fast enough to meet your goals right now...
