Default D16 FI setup

Currently I have a 93 del sol si with the d16z6 motor and my Power goals are 220-250 whp on turbo. I work at a shop so all of the labor is free and the parts at a discounted price. I know exactly what i want to do but am just posting this to get opinions/insight from other people.

Basically all of the necessary mods. I imagine im missing some but you get the rough idea... I imagine 220-250 whp is possible on a stock block but would i need to build the head? Correct me if im wrong.

I would like to feel boost at max 3500rpm and pull till the stock redline. Though priority would be having it pull to stock fuel cut over boosting as low as possible.

Im basically trying to gain as much HP as possible without doing much to the motor itself(except IM/PP y8 head). While obviously staying light and achieving a great power to weight ratio overall. Which is why i went sohc

If you want 200-250whp, have a good fuel mangemant.
fuel injectors
fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator
tuned ecu

you might have to up the boost
the fuel system can hold up to 400hp except injectors and fuel pump.

I was asking if my power goal was achievable on a stock block.

Wow everyone seriously slow down and read the content ive posted. I WILL be upgrading my fuel system fully....

What i want to know is, Can i achieve 220-250WHP on a stock block/head? How much boost do i want to run? That question is totally irrelavent as ill run as much boost as it takes to reach my goal obviously.

theres no reason to drop over $1k on a turbo for 220-250whp for your D. You could find a good non BB turbo that would spool just the same, but cost half as much. People really misunderstand the benefits of BB turbos...

Like I said I work at a shop, it does not cost anywhere near $1000.

but its still not cheap....if you want to get it, then get it. For your power goals there really isn't a benefit to either of those turbos...
