Default Which to do first?

Alright here is the scoupe.....i have a 95 del sol and all i wanna do with it is auto cross...now here is the problem...im torn between buying a z6 block with forged internals with a p&p head....or i have a si tranny putting that in there leaving the stock motor and just doing suspension...either way they both will run me about the same price wise...just dont know which to do...any suggestions?

A forged internals don't add any power. A port and polish on a SOHC like that will net VERY little gains. Those internals only strengthen the motor for other things such as forced induction, etc.

Between your choices, I'd have an Si tranny put in. You won't gain power either, but you will gain mechanical advantage, and you will end up accelerating faster.

just swap in a stock z6, dont worry about internals and p&p head, they dont do **** and use the rest for suspension.

This is correct. If anything, I would suggest getting some better gears into the tranny just so you could accelerate even faster.

I'd say do the tranny and suspension. If you have anything left get some really good tires, your going to need traction and tires will make all the difference in the world. Also another thing to look at is weight reduction cause del sol's are pretty heavy. There are a lot more that you can do but I'm guessing you don't have much money to work with so these are the basics that you can do thats fairly cheap.

well are there gear sets for shorter gearing? i was gonna go with the si tranny and like 15 inch tires...cuz thats less rotational mass...
