Default d16 or b18b

would a b18b turbo (greddy kit) smoke a d16 no matter what? both cars having the greddy kit. even if its a d16y8 or d16y7 with y8 intake manifold?

All things being equal (they never are). A Turbo Y8 will make more power, to a point.

how can a smaller engine make more power? compression, i know, but the b18b has more displacement.
