cyp (cylinder postion code)?
i have this code and also one for fuel injectors. what should i be checking? isn't that sensor in the distributor? also for these two codes the car won't rev past 3200. this is all happening on a b16 with maxrev turbo kit...put in 450cc injectors and the hondata base map chip. i even tried to run a stock ls ecu and stock injectors and it still hits the 3200 rev limit so i am thinking it has to do with the cyp sensor and not the injectors besides they are brand new. thanks

Re: cyp (cylinder postion code)? (not so civic)
id say if its a cyl pos code than pull off the distributer cap and check all of the sensors inside of it, sometimes they get "torn up"
did the car run fine before all of these "mods"???? what hae you changed on it recently that could be the culprit of your problems?

Re: cyp (2.2Lcivic)
yeah the car ran perfectly fine before. all i did was install the new 450's, didn't mess with any ecu harness wires (just the chip in the ecu) and install the gauges and turbo timer which i doubt has any thing to do with it. i did pull the head and put new head gasket and head studs so i don't know...something may just not be plugged up or plugged up wrong which i doubt. i'm about to go and check everything over very close...any more ideas are welcome. thank you.
