Unsolvable ECU code problems
First of let me start by introducing my self. My name is Adam (turbohb91) and this is my first post here.
I am posting because I continously am having problems flashing codes on my 1992 Civic, and cannot fix it. The car is turbocharged, running 10psi tuned, with 450 cc injectors, tuberdata and an SAFC-II. My ecu continously flashes code 9 (CAPS, CYP sensor etc) and I cannot get it to go away for anything. I have re-done the dpfi-mpfi conversion twice (100% positive it's correct) soldered ALL connections, replaced the dizzy with a BRAND new one 3 times, had 3 different ecu's in the car, all of which were in perfect working order and still code 9 flashes. I have run out of ideas and don't have the money to pay a shop to look at it right now as I am in college. If anyone has any ideas or has had a similar experience, please help me out! Thanks,
Adam

Re: (92eh3si)
it could be your uberdata chipped prog. it could have a bad or corrupted file or something did not got check. try to switch it back to stock and see if the cel still come back. if no cel then goto uberdata form post your step up and prog. of your car they might help you there.

Well he's tried 3 different ECU's so that's not the problem. You have a wiring problem somewhere. What engine are you running, and have you used a helms code 9 troubleshooting flow chart for it yet? If it's a d-series I can e-mail you the chart to follow.

did each of those 3 diff ecus have the same program on it? if so it could still be the program.
and what engine do you have in htere? i havent seen a 1992 engine come with dual point injection, as far as i know all us 1992 model engines had mpfi.

I can't remember off hand but isn't the CYP sensor supposed to be shielded? If it is not and it is supposed to be, then that could be your problem!!!!
