Custom turbo kit question???????????????
I am building my own custom turbo kit.
Could I use my AEM CAI piping for the charge pipe?
Has any one ever done this?
Is the AEM alum or steel?
Would I just weld the BOV flange to it?
Where can i buy a BOV flange?
Can a AEM pipe be re-powdercoated?
Other ?'s
Where can i get gaskets for an sc50 turbo?
Should i use special bolts for the manifold-to-turbo and turbo-to-downpipe connections?
Sorry for stupid questions. I just want to do this once and do it right.

yes you can use the aem cai piping for charge pipes, i was gonna do it and might still do it.
the aem's are generally 2.75" aluminum, and yes they can be re- powercoated, just make sure the whole thing is stripped first (most powdercaoting places will do this for you, but some may not)
for the bolts, a few of the sponsors on here sell stud kits, which are a whole lot nicer to use than just plain bolts, plus it makes removing and installing them a whole lot easier
